Terms of Service

By using Parsebay you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

The deal

You upload documents. We extract structured data. You pay for the pages you process beyond your free tier. Pretty simple.

Who can use Parsebay

You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. If you're using Parsebay for an organisation, you're confirming you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. Parsebay is a business tool and isn't intended for children.

Acceptable use

Don't upload documents you don't have the right to process. Don't try to break the service for other users. Don't try to extract personally identifying information at scale without a lawful basis. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service — including abuse of payments, such as fraudulent chargebacks or repeated refund abuse.

Your data

You own everything you upload and everything we extract. We don't claim a license to your content beyond what's needed to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Our software

We own Parsebay itself — the software, the interface, the name and the brand. Using the service doesn't transfer any of that to you. Don't copy it, resell it, or try to reverse-engineer it.

Closing your account

You can stop using Parsebay whenever you like. Cancel a paid plan from Billing inside the app — "Manage or cancel" — or ask us through the contact page. To close your account entirely and delete your data, get in touch and we'll handle it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where we reasonably can we'll tell you why first.

Billing

Paid plans renew monthly or annually. Cancel any time — your plan stays active until the end of the current period, and we won't charge you again.

Prices are listed in USD and exclude sales tax, VAT or GST, which is added at checkout based on your location. If you choose to pay in your local currency, the total is converted at checkout by our payment provider at their rate — you'll always see the exact amount before you confirm.

Refunds: within 14 days of payment, if you've used less than 10% of your page allowance we'll refund in full — once per customer. Beyond that we'll refund the unused portion of your allowance. Pages already extracted have been delivered, so they aren't refundable. Every plan is preceded by a free tier, so you can try Parsebay properly before you pay anything.

Service availability

We work hard on availability, but we don't currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee on any plan. Keep your original documents.

Liability

Parsebay is provided "as is." Extraction is done by AI and won't always be perfect — check the output before you rely on it. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Don't use Parsebay as the only system of record for safety-critical data — keep your originals.

Nothing here limits liability we can't limit by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Your responsibility

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you uploaded — content you didn't have the right to process, or use that broke these terms — you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Things outside our control

We're not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control: upstream provider outages, network failures, natural disasters, or government action.

Changes

We'll email you 30 days before any material change to these terms. If you don't like the change, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused portion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction — except where you're a consumer in a jurisdiction whose local consumer-protection rules override that, in which case those rules apply.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which means your purchase contract for the transaction itself is with them. Their buyer terms govern payment, tax and chargeback handling.

The rest

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands — that clause is treated as removed rather than taking the whole agreement with it. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us. We may transfer them if the business is sold; you can't transfer your account without our agreement. If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to.

Who you're dealing with
